Google Leases Property in Atlanta
About 25,000 square feet has been leased by Google at 10 10th St. in Atlanta which is known as Millennium Midtown. The main folks behind this recent deal with Google involve Harry Joseph — the president of Galaxy Partners who represented Google, Clark Gore — the Vice Chairman of Holder Properties who represented ownership in the transaction and Lisa Dunavin — a broker at Cushman & Wakefield who currently has been tasked with the leasing responsibility.
A press release on Galaxy Partners's website confirms the Google lease by stating:
Galaxy Partners, Inc., in cooperation with Bailes & Associates, Inc. recently represented Google Inc. in connection with its Atlanta office space needs with a lease in 10 10th Street (Millennium in Midtown), a 410,000 square foot office property in Atlanta’s Midtown sub market.
And in a multi tenant offices' brochure on Holder Properties' website, Millenium in Midtown is listed alongside a picture of the property and a description which reads:
A 465,000 square foot, 14 story, Class A office development in Midtown.Lead tenants include the FDIC, McGraw Hill, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Hat tip to Bailey Webb who reveals that Holder Properties recently sold the property to America’s Capital Partners, but the Holder leasing team wrapped up a handful of deals in the pipeline before turning over leasing responsibilities at 10 10th to Lisa Dunavin at Cushman & Wakefield.
A property flyer on the Cushman & Wakefield website, lists Millenium in Midtown as 143,880 rentable square feet available for lease along with Lisa's contact details and another line which states that Cushman & Wakefield are an exclusive agent for the property. Apparently, 66% of the building has already been leased out as seen on the website.
While googling for the property on Google Local, an aerial view pops up of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta which is adjacent to Millenium in Midtown. Looks like Google is walking down new avenues this year, wireless coalitions, real estate deals, what next?
